This diminutive, pointed-nosed brown snake is one of the most commonly seen snakes in urban areas of the Brazos Valley. Adults rarely exceed 8 inches and are usually some shade of brown, reddish-brown to grayish-brown.
It is often found in residential gardens, sometimes in large numbers! It is totally harmless and pose no threat to humans or pets. They eat worms and others small soft bodied insects.
